Today, fellow beloved, I can say this much: Life is curious.
It is as much a struggle as it is beautiful. It is also charming, joyful, playful, and robust. It is full, is it not? And through it all, we are here in the demands of the present yet living for eternity; here withstanding the onslaught of our heartaches, yet still able to celebrate the sacred carnivals in our midst.
Life is good. We followers of Jesus have been given a great gift—the fundamental awareness to appreciate every day God provides. We can do this because we believe in this full life and the one to come. We believe in the Good Book which reminds us that the challenges of life are ultimately conquered by the best things in it. And we believe 1 Corinthians 13:13: “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
There is much to be thankful for, is what I’m saying.
I hope this encourages you to thank God today.
