“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)
Those times in life when I’m not actively thinking, I love You, God, I don’t love Him any less than when I bow down to speak adorations in the privacy of my room. Love for God comes through us at the spirit level, where His Spirit is joined to ours. It is from this deep place that He has chosen to enwrap each soul with His love until and beyond the point we are conformed and able to fully love in return. He is the deepest part of me and of you, of all men and women who are His, and He will never leave. He is the eternal Husband and the Comforter within.
When we sleep at night, we don’t stop loving our loved ones. A mountain stream only flows when filled with water. Ours, though, is an immortal stream–an abiding and prevailing love that we carry inside, coursing through our souls. It is always a part of us, for He is always a part of us.
When I am occupied with any matter in this life other than thinking of God, I don’t love Him less. To the contrary, when I live fully immersed in all of life’s present, passing moments, I love Him all the more. His is a love most inseparable.
I hope this encourages you today.
